Privacy Policy - I do not sell or otherwise disclose my customers' email addresses to anyone under any circumstances.  I do not share my customers' personal information with anyone, and I do not store personal information such as credit card account numbers, etc. on my computer.  I respect your privacy, and I protect your personal information the way I would protect my own.  You have my word on that.

Charges for custom designing:  The first two hours of work on a custom design are free of charge to the customer.  After that, I reserve the right to charge $25 per hour for complex or very difficult designs.  An example of a complex or very difficult design would be a sweater design showing a child standing near a decorated Christmas tree, with stars in the sky, snow falling, and a church in the distance.  Nearly all (95%) of my design work will be free of charge.  I will let you know ahead of time if there are special considerations with your design which require that I must spend several hours on it. 

For years, it has been my policy to do all design work for free, and to charge only for the knitting time and materials.  However, there have been more than a few incidents of customers who have made very extensive changes to nearly finished designs, resulting in hours of time wasted.   Regrettably, I feel that I need to make this change to my policy. 

Shipping and Handling:  You may have noticed that shipping and handling fees have gone up all over the country. I've done my best to hold the line, and to charge reasonable and fair fees for sending your order to you.  All packages will be sent by USPS Priority Mail, 2-3 day service, unless you request otherwise.  Overnight delivery is available, if you are in a hurry.

Cancellations:  Orders may be cancelled up to and including seven (7) days from placing the order, provided that it is not a rush order and that I have not already begun to knit your garment.  If you would like to cancel your order for any reason whatsoever, please give me a call toll free at 1-888-797-1088, and I will give you a confirmation number for the cancellation.

Please understand that after I have purchased the materials needed to complete your order (yarn, buttons, trim, etc.), I cannot return them.  My yarn manufacturer charges a hefty "restocking fee" for returned yarn, and does not credit return postage, which can be quite expensive for several heavy one-pound cones of yarn.  My button supplier does not accept returns at all, and in fact has a minimum order amount.  Please do not ask for an exception to the cancellation policy after the initial seven days have passed.

Items which are custom knitted (these are the sweaters, hats, scarves, etc. knitted at your request, just for you) cannot be returned.  If you have any questions while we are planning your design, please feel free to discuss the details with me at any time!  My telephone number is toll free 1-888-797-1088. 

A full set of color cards is available if you want to compare colors and see the quality and weight of the yarn which will be used.  Click here to purchase a full set of color cards (a very good idea, by the way, as you can take them right into your closet and compare the colors to your hearts' content). 

Information regarding each size, such as length, width and sleeve length, is available on the page "Size/Price Information".  If you need more precise measurements, such as the width and depth of a particular neckline or the shoulder width of a sweater, please ask me.  I will be glad to email the measurements to you, or discuss it with you over the phone. 

I promise that I will make every effort humanly possible to make sure that your custom knitted order is exactly what you want.  Each and every one of my customers is important to me; your satisfaction is always my goal.  You can read for yourself the comments from some of my customers who wrote to me after receiving their orders - just look on the homepage for "testimonials".



There is a $35 fee for a check returned for any reason, which is what my bank charges me.  Please don't bounce a check.
