School Sweater. Pure 100% cotton hand knitted v-neck cardigan School Sweater is shown here in colors "red hot", a deep, sophisticated shade of dark red, and "California gold" deep ribbed sleeve cuffs, two Classic pockets edged in California gold, and school crest buttons. This classic style v-neck cardigan sweater is an all-time favorite, year after year, perfect to toss on over jeans as the weather turns cooler, and to wear to football and basketball games. Whether you are still a student in school or have graduated many years ago, you can still show your school spirit by having your own School Sweater hand knitted just for you, in the colors of your school, college or university. Machine wash/dry.

This cardigan sweater will be hand knitted to your custom specifications, in your choice of 49 beautiful colors. The slightly tapered sides give a trim appearance to the School Sweater, while the hemmed bottom edge gives a comfortable and durable fit. There are three California gold stripes on the left sleeve of this School Sweater. Having the stripes placed on the left sleeve, rather than the right sleeve, is the traditional choice for this type of sweater, as often seen in college or varsity sweaters.

When was the last time you saw two real pockets on a sweater?

Your custom design sweater will be knitted by a real person (that's me - I'm Susan Feltman). I like to take my time and really focus on the details that make these sweaters so distinctive and different from the sweaters you find at the mall. That's why I put two, not one, pockets on this classic sweater.

Classic pockets are knitted right into the fabric of the School Sweater on each side, rather than sewn onto the top of the fabric, and are just the right size for your hand, or for a cell phone, keys and a doughnut or two. The band at the top, knitted in contrasting color, gives a distinctive appearance to the pocket and provides a strong and durable edge.

Gold metallic crest buttons are a classic choice for a school sweater. The photo below shows a closeup view of the buttons, as well as the hemmed bottom edge of the School Sweater:

Custom knitting takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule. (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.) Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail (48 hour delivery). FedEx overnight delivery is also available upon request. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, personal checks and money orders are OK.
