Bolero.  Pure white 100% cotton hand knitted bolero cardigan sweater is simple and elegant, the "perfect little something" to put over a fancy party dress or holiday outfit.  The uncluttered design and shorter, above-the-waist length of the cardigan will add to your outfit, not distract from it.  Just right in an air conditioned restaurant or theatre, the hand knitted bolero cardigan sweater is dressy enough to wear to a wedding or afternoon tea, yet looks equally distinguished over a camisole or sundress.  Have one knitted in black, one in pure white, and one to match the color of your eyes, or your newest pair of sandals.

The dressy hand knitted white bolero cardigan sweater shown in the photo below was knitted in pure white for a ladies size 10.  This hand knitted design can be custom knitted just for you in any size you need, from tiny infant through ladies and plus sizes, and in whatever color you require. Why should you have a bolero sweater designed and knitted just for you?  Aside from the wide range of color choices (there are 49 wonderful colors to choose from), there's the question of fit.  How will your bolero fit?  See the photo below for a closeup look at the side of the bolero sweater.  The sides are gently tapered, not to be tight, but to conform to your body.  Too often, a short jacket is loose and flaps away from the back in an unflattering, awkward way.  A bolero sweater should skim the body, staying close when you turn or bend down, not hanging loose at the sides and gaping open and away from the center of your back.  This little bit of tapering, a subtle designer touch, makes all the difference between an elegant and shapely addition to your outfit, and an ill-fitting, off-the-racks garment from the mall. 

Bolero sweaters are suitable for ladies of all ages.  The little girl's bolero sweater in the photo below, knitted in natural ivory, was custom knitted in size toddler 4, to be worn by a flower girl in a wedding.  

The bolero sweater shown in the photo below is knitted in ballerina pink, with a single narrow accent band of black around the bottom, up the front, around the neck, and at the cuffs, making it a very dressy little sweater.  This bolero was custom designed to match a little girl's pink and black party dress.

Custom knitting takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule. (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.)
